How do I get past "Internal Error: Cannot find CountryID 0"

If this occured while trying to sync with Outlook, then be sure to upgrade to a version 2.1 r63 or newer.  Under the "Help" menu, click on "Check for BETA Update".

If you just installed TntMPD and created a new database, and while starting your first database you receive this error, "Internal Error: Can not find CountryID 0", then you need to restart your computer and try creating a new database again.  To do this:

  1. Restart your computer.
  2. Start TntMPD and under the "File" menu, click on "New".

I tried restarting and opening a new data base but received the same error.

My error is slightly different:

"Internal Error: Can not find CountryID -2."

I'm not sure if that makes a difference or not.

To get past "CountryID -2":

After you open the database and get this error, under the "Tools" menu, click on "Options".  Then on the "International" tab, select the Default and Mailing From countries.  Click "OK" and close TntMPD.  Next time you open TntMPD it should be back to normal.

Actually this option didn't work like after 5 times so i went to uninstall the whole software and saw the "repair" option and clicked on that - when I started the database it didn't even ask me the information that was causing the "glitch" so we shall see but it seems to be a FIX

I'm getting this error now. I restarted the computer, checked the Default & Mailing countries, and tried the Repair option, and so far no diff.

Any help?

Same problem. Upgraded to the new version.

During the first attempted sync with OL I had this problem.

I have re-installed, rebuilt, blah, blah, blah...

If I start a brand new file from scratch, there is not problem.

But if I restore one of the old data files, I have this problem.

If I start a brand new file, how can I import all my old records (not just contacts)

There must be one record that has a null country code ID??? and that's messing with the sync???

I cant do a thing until I get this fixed ;-(

@Terri, this issue w/ syncing w/ Outlook has been resolved in 2.1.63.
