TntConnect 3.4 has been available for beta testing for a few weeks now. The testing has revealed very few bugs so far, and we plan on releasing it next Wednesday.

There are only three significant new features. They are all related to the Gift Input feature. In addition there are more than 30 fixes and enhancements.

One of these new features will apply to any ministry that provides a web-based direct download of gifts:

Every 30 days, after downloading gifts, you will be prompted to download donor address updates.

Two of these new features are limited to ministries using DonorHub Online:

Improved security and ease of use when downloading gifts (OAuth 2.0).
Improved reliability in the gift sync process by allowing adjustments to gifts outside the date range to still be accounted for.

I'd encourage you download the latest 3.4 beta update and give it a test. Let us know if you find any issues. You still have a few days to check the translation center if you'd like to further update the TntConnect translation in your language.

I was the first person to download 3.4, and I really like the encouragement to update donor addresses. I thought I did this regularly, but was embarrassed to discover it had been six months since I last checked. And to my surprise, two of my partners had moved and I did not know it!

I also really like the "catch adjustments" feature.

For years, I have strongly encouraged users to do these things regularly: Check for Address Updates, and set the "Start Date" back in time to catch adjustments. So--especially for DonorHub ministries--these features are a welcome addition.
