Should I be concerned that TntConnect needs to install the Google Chromium Embedded Framework?

Short Answer:  No

Long Answer:

Google Chromium Embedded Framework is an embedded web browser component that TntConnect uses for displaying web content, such as the Google Maps view inside the program:

Google Chromium Embedded Framework is not a stand-alone web browser, and it won’t add or replace the web browser in your operating system. It sounds a lot like “Google Chrome”, and that’s because Google Chrome is based 90% on the Google Chromium Embedded Framework.  To confuse it even more, there actually is an open source web browser called Chromium that is 99.9% based the Google Chromium Embedded Framework.

After you install TntConnect, the Google Chromium Embedded Framework is installed entirely into the [C:\Program Files (x86)\TntWare\TntConnect\chromium] folder. You could actually delete this folder and TntConnect would continue to run.  But all the nice features like the embedded Google Maps would no longer work.
