How do you import contacts from TnTMPD on one computer to another?

I have a new request: how to import all my donors information, including giving into Donor Manager data intoTNT? I want to beginning using TNT instead.
You might want to check out the Downloads section. Somebody posted a tool for converting from DM to TntMPD.
Is there a master list of database fields to input into available online? I'd like to figure out what data I can import from my excel database ahead of time.

i diidn't know what a csv file was or how to convert my excel spreadsheet into csv. here's a link:

How do I directly import my information from Access where I have kept my own database? Do I first have to export everything from Access as a csv then import the csv? I assumed the "link to Access" tool is what was used for this, but evidently not.
The "Link To Access" tool makes TntMPD tables available (as linked tables) in the Access database of your choice. Then, it's up to you what you do with that in Access. If you're good w/ databases, you could probably transfer data from your old database that way. Otherwise, you'll have to export your contact information from your old Access database to a CSV file, and TntMPD can import contacts from that CSV file.

Drew, this FAQ article is the best source of information on the topic. In Excel, be sure to "Save As" to save to a CSV file so that TntMPD can import from it.

TntMPD can only import from CSV. From Excel, you can [File \ Save As] to save your Excel spreadsheet as a CSV file.
