How do I get past, "Mail Chimp Error (Forbidden), , API key access has been revoked"?

You’ll have to create a new API Key in MailChimp and copy/paste it into TntConnect, replacing your old/revoked one.

To do this, pull up "Sync with MailChimp" and click "Options". 

You'll see a link to "Where is my API Key".  Get a new API key and paste it into TntConnect.

  

You need to create a new API key.  Click "API Dashboard":

   

Then click the button to "Create a Key":

 

Then copy /paste that new API key into TntConnect over top of the old one.

It took me a minute to realize where I was meant to copy and paste the API key. Perhaps you could add a visual of that prompt for the technologically developing ;)

This is Mary Perry. I'm finding this much more difficult than it should be. Where do I find that simple message that says, API dashboard? On Mailchimp under API Key I found instructions that are so complicated I will never be able to understand them. HELP!

Oh, I followed the instructions, step by step, at least I thought so. Even after creating a new API key and pasting it in, Maile Chimp gives me an error saying that the API key access has been revoked. I give up for today and will try again tomorrow. Thanks for all you do for all of us!!!

@Jordan, I added the visual you asked about.

@Jon and Mary Perry, To do this, after you pull up the "Sync with MailChimp", click "Options". You'll see a link to "Where is my API Key".  Click that link to pull up MailChimp in your web browser on the API dashboard.

@Dorothy Lander, if this keeps happening, please report it on the forums.  But it's probably a MailChimp issue if it's saying the key was "revoked".  TntConnect can't do anything with a revoked key.
