How can I force a fresh reinstall of TntConnect on my Mac?

Filed under:

1.  Make sure TntConnect isn't currently running.

2.  Delete TntConnect from your Applications folder.

3.  Empty your Trash ... Restart your Mac if you can't completely empty your Trash.

4.  Reinstall TntConnect into your Applications folder from the DMG (Disc Image) available here:

Don't worry, you won't lose your data.  Your TntConnect database files are typically stored in your “Documents” or "Dropbox" folder.  Think of it this way:  Reinstalling Word won’t cause you to lose all your Word documents.

If you really want to be sure TntConnect is getting a fresh reinstall:

1) Close TntConnect if it's currently running.

2) In Finder, hold down the "option" key while you click "Go".  Then click "Library".

3) Inside the "Application Support" folder, you'll see a folder that starts with "com.tntware.tntconnect_" followed by the version of TntConnect you have installed.  Delete that folder.
