Can TntMPD be used on a Windows 7 platform?

TntMPD runs fine on Windows 7.  TntMPD works well on both 32-bit (x86) and 64-bit (x64) versions of Windows.

I have not been able to install TntMPD (version 2.1 r9 or 2.1 r11) on Windows 7.  During the installation process it says I need "Microsoft Crypto API for COM (CAPICOM) 2.1".  It also informs me that it will do this for me and then TntMPD installation will resume.  But, the installation box disappears and never returns.  Any suggestions?

Make sure your anti-virus has the latest definitions.  Sophos recently incorrectly detected SetupTntMPD as a "suspisious" program.

Sounds like you're on Windows 10.  You'll need to either wait for TntMPD 3.1 (in a few days, perhaps ... still waiting on Cru to give me the rights to the software) ... or you'll need to look for "Troy's Google Maps (and Windows 10) Fixer" in the meantime.
