Backup Database

Creating and restoring database backups are discussed in greater detail in the DonorWise Technical Manual.

Backup Database

1.Select the menu item.

Menu Path: Tools | Backup Database As

2.Select the file location.

Note that Microsoft SQL Server 2005 requires your backup to be in the C:\Program Files\Microsoft SQL Server\MSSQL.1\MSSQL\Backup directory. If you try to backup to any other directory, you will receive an error.

3.Press the <OK> button.
