How do I get past, "Invalid combination of GL Account and RC"?

When you enter a new donation, be sure the GL and RC account combination is valid.  This is defined in the "GL Accounts and RCs" screen.

Hi Troy,

I am having the same problem with Suspense/Refund GL account/RC combination not valid.  How do I find the Suspense/Refund GL account to fix this.  It does not show up in my GL list and I am not integrated with a GL, so I am trying to do everything manually.  This is stopping me from entering batches.

Please help, Roanna

Under the "Tools" menu, click on "Integrated General Ledger Options".  Then see if the check box for "Enforce valid GL Account/RC combos" is checked.  If you want to define valid combinations, keep this box checked.  Otherwise remove the check.

If it's checked, then in the "GL Accounts and RC" screen, you'll see there's a "Valid Combinations" section.  Only combinations found in this grid are considered valid.
