TntConnect 3.5.9 BETA

TntConnect 3.5.9 introduces three features to help with more advanced fundraising scenarios.

  FEATURE - Shift-Right-Click on organization logo in Organization Info window to "Accept all changes" from organization.
  FEATURE - Lookup By Donor IDs filter added.
  FEATURE - Lookup By Giving, added "Only" filter for currency, designation and motivation.

Accept all address/phone/email changes from organization

Some ministries setup a TntConnect database linked to all accounts in their backend donation/accounting system, and they'd like TntConnect to keep up with donor address/phone/email changes in the organization's donation/accounting system.  After updating Donor Information from DonorHub (Tools | Update Donor Info), you might want to accept all changes.  To do this, pull up the organization info window, Shift-Right-Click on the logo and click on "Accept all changes from ___".   (This feature is intentionally hidden until it receives more testing and feedback.)

Lookup by Donor IDs

Let's say you manage certain aspects of your fundraising campaign in your organization's donation/accounting system, such as DonorWise, and you want to create a group in TntConnect based on certain donor ids in your donation/accounting system.  This latest beta makes it easy to do this.  From your organization's donation/accounting system, pull out all the donor ids you are interested in.  Put them into Excel, for example, and copy and paste them to the clip board.  In TntConnect, click on "Lookup" and "Donor IDs", and then paste them in (one donor id per line):

Click "OK" to lookup these donor ids.  Now you can do Group Actions or you can create a new Saved Group based on the current lookup/group.

Lookup By Giving only to a currency, designation and/or motivation

When you do a lookup by giving, and you specify a currency, designation or motivation, TntConnect doesn't exclude a contact if they also have given to other gifts.  This lookup is inclusive, not exclusive.  But what if you want to lookup ONLY those donors who have given to a certain designation (and never to any other designation)?  Now you can click the "Only" box when you want this to happen:
