This latest release (TntMPD 2.0 r8) will automatically resolve the "lost history items" issue from the automatically created backup, and if this is not possible, it will provide more information to the user with a message prompt.
It does this by detecting if the database was coming from 2.0.0 - 2.0.7, and if so it will search the auto-backups for the last 1.6 format database. It will automatically attempt to import lost history items. If this is not possible, it will prompt the user.
This release should automatically close the communication loop regarding this issue, and should hopefully resolve it automatically for most users.
