Welcome to the DonorWise training session. Over the next few days you will be learning all about DonorWise and how it can help your ministry operate more effectively.

To facilitate this training, we have created a sample DonorWise database for the ministry in Genovia, a small country in the mountains of Europe.

The ministry in Genovia has been around for 2 years. They use Dynamics SL as their General ledger, and integrate it with DonorWise. They started using DonorWise at the beginning of February 2008 (2008-02-01), and imported all of their donations for one year prior. Genovian currency is the Crown, which currently trades on par with the U.S. dollar.

Genovia has several ministries including a Campus ministry on two campuses, and a GCTC. They also have an Athletes in Action ministry, and a Jesus Film ministry that are being developed. On their staff they have 2 couples, 3 single men, and 4 single women. They also have 2 paid employees.

In the summer of 2007 they had a summer project with 19 students attending.
