TntMPD 2.1 r8 (release candidate)

I'm excited about this release, because of the practical help it brings to you when you're making phone calls and you have to quickly scan the person's history.

One problem I've found when scanning the history for someone right before I call them is that all the newsletters I've logged clutter up what's really important.  It causes me to have to scroll to get past a few years of history.  Now, there's a "Newsletter" type.  (Remember that you can use the "History" view and you can select multiple items holding down the ctrl key or a range using the shift key ... and then right-click and "Edit" if you want to change multiple items to the new "Newsletter" type in one step.)  Newsletters are now in a gray text, so they appear faded behind the "real" history items such as calling or meeting with someone.  Also, there's an option to "Hide Mass Mailings" which makes all the newsletters dissapear from the list.  This means you might not even have to scroll to see 5 years of history.

The other problem I've found is that attempted history items didn't appear much different than completed/received items.  Now all attempted items have a strikethrough font (this started in 2.1).  Also, appointments that are attempted appear in red, and all other attempted items appear in gray text.  There's an option under "Tools | Options | User Interface" if you want to turn off the strikethrough font.  Personally I really like it turned on ... which is the default.

Please give it a try and let me know what you think.

Translators:  Please visit the translation center at this website and update your translation of TntMPD and also you might want to translate the installation program as well.  The installation program only has 171 items to translate, so it shouldn't be too much work to fully translate it.

Thanks,
Troy
