Do all of your ministry partners make pledges and give financially in only one currency? If so, please disregard the rest of this message!

On the other hand, if your financial pledges and gifts come to you in more than one currency, then I could really use your insight. I'd like to enhance TntMPD to help you manage your multi-currency support base. I personally have no experience with such a situation. A Campus Crusade staff member, Caspar Blattmann, has made an excellent add-on available for TntMPD called the TntMPD Event Notifier. I encourage you to consider using it. I personally use it and find it quite helpful in remembering birthdays and anniversaries of my ministry partners. Heres's the website:

BUG FIX NOTICE:
In recent months a bug has been introduced into TntMPD which made the Event Notifier show error messages when Windows was restarted. Rest assured that this issue has been resolved with the latest release of TntMPD (1.6 r75). Just upgrade TntMPD to the latest version, and this issue will go away. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have cause you.

* Redesigned contact lookup screen to support a categorized filter tree.
* Lookup|By List has new buttons: "Reverse selected", "Clear all".
* Right click on export field list now displays "Choose all" menu item.
* Added keyboard shortcuts Alt+("+", "") to edit name/address screen.
* Added record count when importing contacts from text.

A newer version of the TntMPD Event Notifier has been release. This tool allows you to see upcoming birthdays and anniversaries of your partners. The newer version has some enhancements to filter and select events and contacts that you would like to see. It also highlights events that take place today.

I'm pleased to announce the release of TntMPD 1.6 r33.

Some users have been reporting the fatal error: "Unable to Locate DLL (msimg32.dll)". This issue has now been resolved. Also, there have been two improvements:

1) Automatic contact matching is more stringent.

Some users were finding that when syncing to Outlook that TntMPD would assume it found a match, when in reality it wasn't (even though it was really close). The parameters for auto-match have been made more stringent to make it more difficult to auto-match without it really being the same person!

2) Custom address blocks that don't contain street, city, state, or zip are flagged.

Some users would customize their address block (which is a supported feature of TntMPD). Then the contact would move and they would update their address info (street, city, state, zip). The custom address block would not update correctly (with no warning given). TntMPD has been changed so that custom address blocks that don't contain the basic info (street/city/state/zip) are flagged for the user to inspect. To initially set the flags on existing contacts, under the "File" menu click on "Maintenance" then click on the "Mailing Data" button. Any address blocks that look suspicious will now contain "***** (Inspect Custom Address Block) *****" on the first line.

If you're running Windows NT 4.0 and you want to upgrade to TntMPD 1.6 r31, please be aware that TntMPD 1.6 r31 has an incompatibility issue with NT 4.0. The good news is that this issue has been resolved with TntMPD 1.6 r33. This update is currently only available via the beta section of my website. Here's the link:

Windows XP users who have themes turned on will notice a big difference (visually) right away. The "Gift Input from Web" window has been improved as well to allow you to skip the "Downloading Additional Data" step, and it reduces the number of prompts required when matching contacts.
