From what I experienced, a MailChimp/TNTMPD sync does not occur unless you click one of the specific sync buttons. Unlike the TNTMPD/Outlook sync process, the default button to proceed will not initiate a sync. This was not what I expected, and I had gone through the sync procedure last month thinking...
