You must be on the Contacts view for the Group Actions menu to appear.

Not really. But keep in mind that the "group" these contacts must be in is the "Current Group" which is a result of the "Current Lookup". This may or not be based on a "Saved Group". You could "Lookup | By List" to select ad-hoc contacts for the Current Group.

Is there a way to add History to more than one contact WITHOUT those contacts being in a group that I want to log History to?

Currently, there is not a way to add additional contacts to a group history. Adding it to the contact will make it look like an individual history item on the main History View.

If I log a group history but then realize later that someone was missing from the group, is there a way to add that history to them so they are included in the group history? Or will the item always just look like an individual history item for them and there is no way for me to remember that they were part of a group for that history item?
