Once again I am requesting a way to only mark the person who died as deceased (not the couple). Unfortunately, several spouses in our contacts have recently passed away. I have found a work around that works better for me -- go ahead and mark the couple as deceased then create a new entry for the surviving spouse with a note reminding me what I did.

Troy, thank you for all you do -- this is by far the best PD software I have ever tried.

Agreed, this is a far too frequent case to have to have a blunt stick work around.

Yes please! This would really help. Especially when the husband dies. Moving the names around, still doesn't help us remember the contact as a widow or widower. You have to remember or read notes every time you want to email or mail out information.

I will add my "yes please" to the above two suggestions! It would also be very nice to be able to undo if you make a mistake and mark "deceased" without having to go thru so many steps. I've still not figured out how to undo my mistake.

Just want to say that I agree with Mark -- it would be nice to mark the death of a spouse.

I do follow the procedure you have outlined but it would be really nice to be alble to mark the death of a husband or a wife on the Contact the MPD card without having to resort to a workaround. You might consider adding this feature to a future version.
