TntMPD and Dropbox

How to use Dropbox for Couples--when two people are using a TntMPD database in Dropbox at the same time. This short document describes (not in detail) how to create two separate databases that are side-by-side in the same Dropbox folder. This allows both to use TntMPD at the same time. Then use TntSync to merge changes together.

Nice explanation, Bob!  I've been using TntSync to keep my database in sync with my wife's computer since BEFORE TntMPD 1.0.  Nice to see it getting some attention.

This seems to work completely fine with OneDrive for Business (Sharepoint) as well.

I have a slightly different scenario. My computer crashed and I resumed working with an older database. I made entries to the older backup. I was later able to access a backup of the most recent database. Now I have updated entries in two databases that do not exist in the other. While one is an active database, the other is a backup. Is there a way to merge the two so I don't lose data from either? Thanks in advance. Steve A.

Hi @Sandkamar, In TntConnect, open up one of your databases.  Then, under the "File" menu, click on "Utilities" and then "Merge With Another Database", and then choose your other database.  This will merge the two databases together, so you don't lose the data from either. --Troy
