Understanding a contact's giving records

Being able to see a graphical history of your donors gifts can be both exciting and encouraging.

Sample Contact

Fred & Wilma Flintstone.
Pledge $145 per month, are current givers, but did not give for about two years; as a result, their average is not equal to their current giving.

See Summary Data to see how giving history is shown in the Name and Address Bar on the Contact View.

The bottom section is divided into two parts. The box on the left is the giving history for the Flintstones.

The box on the right is a graphical representation of their giving for the past 13 months:

You can toggle between their individual gifts and all of the gifts from the current group by pressing .

You can change the number of months shown, or switch between months, quarters, and years.

International Note: How currency is shown

In the above example, this contact is a Financial Partner who gives $25 each month. Although it shows as "dollars", this really means "units of currency". If you have one contact who gives in dollars and another in Euros, both will appear as dollars. TntMPD does not have currency conversion features. If you want to maintain giving records in two separate currencies, you will need two separate databases.

The currency symbol that shows will be the one associated with the language chosen in your Windows Regional Settings.
