Phone Numbers

Print this Topic Previous pageReturn to chapter overviewNext page

You can have up to 14 phone numbers for any contact. How anyone could have that many phone numbers is a great mystery. Nevertheless, TntMPD is flexible! You will find, however, that TntMPD is limited by the same limitations as Outlook and other contact managers (by design, since it can sync with them): It views contacts as individuals rather than as couples. For example, that is why there is not a mobile phone for the primary contact and a mobile phone for the spouse.

Preferred. Only one phone number can be selected as preferred. When you select a preferred number and have a comment in the Comments field, TntMPD will change the phone text to match the comment.

Verify Phone Number

If necessary, you can modify the phone number for international usage. For example, if a contact has a phone in two countries, and one requires an international dialing code.

(United States is the default country in this example)

Notice that an extra dialing code has been added.
