Greetings

TntMPD offers three separate greetings to help you customize your letters and envelopes. Default greetings shown on top, customized greetings on the bottom, with alert message; note also that in the example below, the greeting that is customized is also highlighted in bold ("Full Name").

Greeting—No last name. Commonly used as the salutation in a letter.

Full Name—Adds titles (if you used them). This is the name that will appear on the address bar, (e.g., Mr. and Mrs. Krazy Kat). I personally prefer to see both names in the address bar, so I change the Full Name to equal the Short Name.

Short Name—First and last names, without titles.

If the contact is an organization (box checked), TntMPD will replace all of the name information with a single name box.

For organizations, all three Greetings will be the same. If the organization is a church you may want to make the Greeting to the “Missions Committee” or to “Our friends at (church)”.
