I managed to export my address book to a .vcf file, then convert it to a .csv file; however, when I try to export it, I get this error message for every name: "A first, last or organization name must be entered for this contact. Do you want to continue? If you choose to continue, this record will be saved for future attempts?" If I hit "yes" it just scrolls to my next contact. All my contacts have first and last names, so I don't know why the error message comes up.

Can Address Book export to a CSV file? Whenever I do it, it looks like the only option is to export it as .abbu. Whatever that is! I realize this might be more of a question for the mac experts, but if you happen to know..... Thanks!

You would first have to export your address book to a CSV text file. Then TntMPD can import this file.

TntMPD interacts with Outlook using it's Automation COM/OLE interface.

You can't. Currently, Sync with Outlook is a PC-only feature.

When you map fields from your csv file to TntMPD's fields. Be sure to map to the First/Given Name and the Last/Family Name fields. Every contact in TntMPD must have a first name or a last name. Or if it's an organization (like a church), it must have an organization name.

I got to the point where I was ready to merge and a screen came up saying "a first, last, or organization name must be entered for this contact." I'm not sure where to enter that? Thanks!

ITG is considering it. It would not be a change to TntMPD, but rather in how they present the donation data to TntMPD.

With the pending change to the 13-month printout giving us the breakdown of church/foundation gifts by individual contributor, is there a plan in the next major release to split out gifts by major/minor donors? I have a couple supporters who all give through the same foundation so I have to manually reduce and add the gifts to keep things straight.

But just to answer your question and for future users: If both sets of contacts are exactly the same (that is, it does not matter which one you delete), then use a Lookup | By List and you will see all of the contacts in the group. Just check the ones you want to delete. When you press OK, those will all be in one group. Then select Group Actions | Delete all contacts in the Current Group.
