Support Progress Box

When I manually figure my monthly average from the contribution report, whether I check my 3,6,9 or 12 month average, it never matches the monthly average in the "Analysis" screen. I'm trying to figure out if there is a discrepency. The monthly average in the "Analysis" screen is consistantly about $500 or more higher than what I get when I figure it manually.

Please give me some direction on what I am missing here.

Is it possible to add a line or an option to be able to see ONLY the special gifts received?  Not the average, but the total of all special gifts received?  This would be very helpful, especially for those of us in our initial MPD that have special one-time goals that we are trying to meet.  If this is not yet possible, it seems to me that it would be fairly easy (on the scale of programing) to add a line to do this on the analysis page.  A toggle would be really great, to allow us to change from average monthly, to total special gifts.

TntMPD doesn't currently offer this feature.  But it's a good suggstion you can make (click "Suggestions" up top).

I am trying to figure out how to use the analysis feature. I am confused on why when I click the checkbox next to "Pledge Commitment" it effects the outstanding pledges when I run the weekly excel update. What is the this checkbox for? I am also not seeing the supporters who have pledged but not given accurately in the weekly update.

The check box stands for "Pledge Received".  If the box is not checked, TntMPD assumes it's an unfulfilled pledge.

When I expand the progress box to show AvgMonthly from pledges, should that figure ($2588 in the above example) match the solid monthly support in my MPGA?  I know both the MPGA and the support progress box have designations for both Pledged and Special, but wanted to confirm that TNT's math was current with what the MPGA would show.

The TntMPD amount and the MPGA [Monthly Partner Giving Analysis] amount will differ, because they are computed differently by different systems. The MPGA is computed by your organization with no input from you, while the TntMPD amount takes into account how you have identified your donors and their giving habits. How MUCH they differ will depend on the nature of the special gifts you receive and how you track them in TntMPD. Both are useful, just in different ways.
