How can I change "me" in an existing tntMPD database?

unable to download any recent date range

When trying to download gifts (from Mission to the World), I am unable to download anything past a date in April 2010, which looks to maybe be the last date I was able to download successfully. MTW was able to send me the tab delimited file which shows all the gifts that should be coming through, and the data seems fine on their end. When I ask for any date range, the download comes through with the most recent date being the April date. (ie: one month download shows dates March 2010, six month download shows date range Dec 2009-April 2010) I tried downloading the latest version of tnt to my system and that didn't help. Ideas?

The good news is this is a new problem. I always subscribe to the theory
that if we are going to make mistakes, let's not make the same ones over and

Mac Attack

We have tried downloading the mac version twice now but when we open it up the top tool bar contains only blank boxes. When you touch on them a drop down menu appears but is also only boxes (with a few icons next to the boxes). After making sure that the database was in the program and updated, it was impossible to export it to Excel as the export could not be identified - due to the unidentifiable boxes.

Tnt not syncing to my ministry account

everytime i click the gift input button to sync my account with tnt and then search for my ministry (campus crusade for Christ USA) it loads for a while then a little message pops up that says Tnt is not responding. i dont know if its my computer or the program? anyways, maybe i could get some help? :)

Performed a look-up for everyone of MPD phase less than appointment scheduled

I downloaded the file TNTData-2.tntmpd from my mission organization and clicked on it from the downloads page. Then it gave me this error.

Slow Auto-Update?

Has anyone else had issues with a sluggish auto-update process? As I've upgraded since the advent of the "one-click" upgrade, it's been excruciatingly slow for the most part.

The problem could be on my end -- we are sometimes bandwidth-challenged, so if it's just on our end, no sweat, but wanted to see if others were noticing a difference.

Take your TntMPD database with you on your iPhone

If you’re like me, you like having mobile phone access to your TntMPD contacts DB. It makes it easy to use MapQuest for Mobile or Google Maps to get turn by turn directions to a supporter’s home as well as current DB info. on your supporters. I use StoreIt to do this. It was the only decent DB app. I could find for the iPhone that can import and export to/from a laptop/desktop computer. You just create a “Category” in StoreIt with the appropriate fields that you want from your TntMPD DB and then use TntMPD’s export to Excel feature to select the fields that you want and export them to a CSV file. You then fire up StoreIt, and you can use WiFi to import the CSV into the StoreIt DB (Category) that you created.

What’s really awesome about StoreIt is that if you click on an address field in the StoreIt DB, it automatically fires up the iPhone Map app. with the address you clicked on. If you click on a phone number, it fires up the phone and dials the number you clicked on. If you click on an email address, it fires up your email client and has that email address as the recipient. Guess what happens if you click on a web site URL? It’s well worth the $1.99 price tag. Not for the super faint of heart though, as it will take a few minutes to create the “Category”, but once that’s done your all set.

tnt for linux

I am transferring to linux and have found quality opensource programs for all of my needs. This way I can use my resources in helping others without having to pay for the constant upgrades. (Windows vista is a just a few months away, are you ready to upgrade all of your software yet?)

need help importing .csv text file

Every time I try to import my contacts from a .csv file, I get this error message: "A First, Last or Organization name must be entered for this contact. No records were imported." I have something in every section, I put "False" in all the sections that were blank, but that didn't change anything and I read all the help and instructions and none of that helped. I made sure all the contacts had at least a first, last or organization name. Please help.... Thanks!

Transferring database from PC TNT to Mac TNT

I have been using TNT on my PC for 4 or 5 years now. I just got a Mac computer and want to transfer my database from my PC to my Mac TNT. I have not been able to open up the database on my flash drive on my Mac and need some suggestions on how to do this. Could you please help me?

TNT Not Opening on Mac

I have a Mac and am using TNT 2.1.26. TNT used to open with another program simultaneously, called X11. X11 stopped opening the other day and only TNT would show up as an open application on my dashboard. Even though it said it was open, it was not running. I downloaded a new version of X11 and now X11 is open, but TNT will not open.

Any Suggestions?

Tried opening TntMPD.desktop icon. It asked which application to use to open it, and I manually chose TntMPD from my application list. Then this error msg popped up.

Deleting several months of uploaded donor information

Troy, you'll be happy to know that it looks like the CCO has uncovered and repaired the issue of donations being designated to the wrong donor/gifts being mismatched. You were right that it was an ID problem with our programming.

Now that we have that kink worked out several of our staff would like to go back to our first possible uploaded donor info (November 2009) and upload all the corrected info to make sure they have everything accurate.

Two questions:

1-If someone manually corrected November 2009 to today will they have a problem if they try to upload the correct info? (Our guess is that this will cause further problems, as if a gift is coming in twice)

2-Is there a way for a staffer to delete all donations from November 2009 to today by somehow selecting a date range to delete so they can start over again with the correct info (rather than manually deleting hundreds of donations)?

Lost TNT Database on Mac

I recently downloaded a security update on my Mac. I then learned that after a security update it is necessary to reinstall X11, which I did (I'm running Leopard 10.5.8). Now I'm not able to find my database. As I'm currently devoting 3/4 time to MPD, I need my database back! What do I do?!

Unable to insert Picture from a Web Address (http://.....jpg)

I used to be able to instert a picture I found on the web (i.e. facebook) directly into TNT using the http address for the image location (I was using version 2.1.r16 ish). But, now that I upgraded to 2.1.r32, I can't include the pictures from online. I get an error: File: "http:.....jpg" does not exist.

Can you add this functionality back into TNT? Thanks!

Send email to all contacts in this group

I cannot find anywhere the command to "send an email to all contacts in this group". I've read the FAQ's - nothing. Help only gives the path. I do not have "group" in my command bar, only "group actions". There are commands to sync to Outlook (which I am using), but nothing on how to send this group an email using my email program. Can anybody help please.
